Fat Lizard Herttoniemi

Shift master

Fat Lizard Herttoniemi’s “amusement center” is looking for a qualified shift master. In your turn, you will be responsible for a wide range of kitchen operations. In Herttoniemi, we operate in magnificent premises on four floors; there is a meeting room, a sauna with its own terrace and jacuzzi, a restaurant hall, a large terrace and an atmospheric Street Bar at street level. There are almost 1000 customer seats, including the terraces, and the atmosphere is very diverse and, above all, pleasant. Fun colleagues and good challenges keep the mind refreshed and taste buds sensitive.

The kitchen team consists of Kitchen Manager Antti, Chef Arttu, Pizza Master Gigi and more than 10 professional shift masters, chefs and pizza chefs.

We expect from you: good skills to lead people, passion and perseverance to maintain excellent quality, as well as constantly develop activities with the team. You will be happy to have experience of how the á la Carte kitchen works and the lunch concepts are also familiar. We hope that you are flexible and courageous, fair and sober.

There are shifts available from Monday to Sunday from lunch hours to the evenings. We are busy every day of the week.

Finnish language skills are not mandatory, we have an excellent introduction and training practice but surely we appreciate previous experience and learned skills.

Bartender

We are looking for a bartender with a 90h/3week contract.

We are open every day and there is plenty to do from Monday to Sunday evening. The bartender’s shifts are mostly in the evening and our weekend breaks are regular. The restaurant always closes no later than 24 o’clock, which means that night work is not available.

We already hope you to have some experience in bartending and knowledge of beers will be an advantage. Of course, we teach and familiarize you with all the secrets of our own bar, i.e. the eagerness to learn new things makes up for any shortcomings. In addition to the wide range of beers, our customers enjoy a lot of cocktails and our wine selection is also quite extensive.

Behind the bar counter, customers are received with a smile. The counter also sells food to walk-in customers. The bartender’s job description also includes serving meals to the tables over time and taking care of the cleanliness of the bar area and terrace.
